The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giles shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Davies fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Davies is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Giles's half guard.
Davies is trying to control the action in half guard but Giles is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Giles definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
