Orwell's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nuclear. Owen Orwell has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Neptune!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neptune drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Orwell is trying to get back to his feet.
Orwell manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Neptune wants to control but Orwell is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Orwell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Neptune swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Orwell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Orwell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We've been hearing reports that Orwell has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A nice inside leg kick there by Neptune. That's going to slow Orwell down.

and Orwell counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Orwell feints and as Neptune raises his hands in defense, Orwell changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Neptune passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Orwell!

Orwell stands up from Neptune's guard - Orwell perhaps looking for a knockout.
That kick from Neptune tenderised Orwell's leg. Orwell is trying to keep his angry face on.
Neptune throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Orwell chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Neptune can pounce on him.

Orwell seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Neptune tries to work over Orwell's front leg with a kick but Orwell checks it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Neptune.
Orwell shoots for a takedown but Neptune saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Neptune will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Orwell tries to counter with a takedown but Neptune is quick to defend against it.
Neptune lands a leg kick that knocks Orwell off balance momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Neptune closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Orwell to the mat! Orwell manages to get full guard.

Neptune looking to improve position, pressing down on Orwell's thigh with his hand. Orwell seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Neptune paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Neptune's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Orwell picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
