Villela uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brooks.

Brooks throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Villela sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brooks avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brooks looks to score with a jab to the body but Villela is just out of range.
Brooks swings for the body but Villela moves out of range.

Villela throws a series of punches but Brooks avoids them all with ease.

Brooks throws a lazy right hand but Villela sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Villela counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Brooks is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Villela ducks under a wild hook from Brooks.

Brooks fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Villela to the ground. Brooks is now in Villela's guard.
Brooks pushing down on Villela's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Villela really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brooks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
