Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Borhan Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge X Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Khan. Those never looked like landing.
Khan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
X Small lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
X Small throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Khan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. X Small was covering up waiting for the punch and Khan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Khan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
X Small is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Khan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at X Small to see if he's OK.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Khan tries to score a power double leg takedown but X Small sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Khan somewhat.

Khan wants to stand up but X Small has a hold of him and won't allow it.

X Small is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Khan has just dragged him back down to the mat.

X Small pushes Khan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Khan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Khan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt X Small will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Borhan Khan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Khan in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
X Small can't do much from the bottom here.
X Small is looking to regain half guard here but Khan keeps moving and retains side control.

Jorge X Small is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Khan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. X Small tries to avoid it but Khan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag X Small to the ground. X Small escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Khan goes for a double leg but X Small avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as X Small continues to drive forward.

Khan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics X Small uses from the top position.

X Small postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Khan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of X Small, into his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Borhan Khan will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Khan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

X Small is trying to work for a sweep but Khan has mounted him!

Khan lands a big shot there that rocks X Small but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Khan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

X Small really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

X Small is trying desperately to improve position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Khan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Khan wants to finish this one by submission but X Small is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Khan.
Khan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that X Small can do to turn this around?

Khan is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. X Small is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. X Small flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Khan anticipates the leg and manages to get behind X Small and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Khan slips an arm under X Small chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Khan has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Khan is squeezing on X Small like an anaconda would it's prey. X Small fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
