Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ladislav Hemsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes to the cage accompanied by Tuesday's Gone. Hemsky has chosen Onward to Victory as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ladislav Hemsky!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James lands with an overhand left.
Hemsky connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed James momentarily.
Hemsky looks to throw the jab but James is out of range.
James is looking for a counter combo.
A jab from Hemsky misses.
An attempted straight right counter from James misses the target.
James lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hemsky lands with a cross.
Ladislav Hemsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hemsky scores with a jab. James acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hemsky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by James.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hemsky cracks James with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

James went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Hemsky jabs James to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hemsky is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! James had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Hemsky stuns James with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Hemsky ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Hemsky uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
James tries to move into range but Hemsky moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hemsky has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. James seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Hemsky can turn it around.

Ladislav Hemsky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

It looked like James wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Hemsky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but James was well out of range. Poor timing from Hemsky.

and James counters with a straight that turns Hemsky's legs to rubber! James pushes forward with more strikes and Hemsky goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
