Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Avon Stringer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stringer comes to the cage accompanied by The Loner. Savage is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bon Jovi - It's my life. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Savage goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Stringer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Savage but great work by Stringer.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Savage tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stringer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It appears Stringer was looking to counter with a kick there.
Savage goes for a double leg but Stringer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stringer continues to drive forward.
Avon Stringer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Savage.
Savage takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Avon Stringer.
