Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Sap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and brian surr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sap kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Archie - We Ready. surr is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: momma said knock you out!. Robert Sap has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
surr avoids a punch combination nicely.
surr is looking to slow Sap down with leg kicks.
Sap throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
surr moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sap is breathing heavily.
Sap throws a series of punches but surr moves out of range.
Good leg kick by surr there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Sap uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from surr.
surr connects with a solid leg kick.
Sap avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sap steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from surr. That one must have hurt.
surr lands with a shot to the body.
surr buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sap blocks a head kick by surr.
surr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sap misses with a double jab
and surr makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

surr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
surr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
surr scores with a jab to the body.
Sap drops his hands momentarily. surr doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Sap staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Sap doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
