Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Rutecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crash Bandicoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutecki comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the Name. Bandicoot has chosen Crash Bandicoot: Jungle Rollers Remix as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutecki tries to bum rush Bandicoot with a series of wild strikes but Bandicoot uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dexter Rutecki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crash Bandicoot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bandicoot crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rutecki - the referee stops the clock and Bandicoot gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rutecki. Bandicoot manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Crash Bandicoot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bandicoot shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rutecki's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rutecki has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Rutecki counters with a two punch combo.

Rutecki lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bandicoot's sensitive parts.

Bandicoot shoots in and gets a takedown into Rutecki's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bandicoot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Rutecki manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rutecki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bandicoot gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bandicoot drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bandicoot jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Crash Bandicoot has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I would just about give that final round to Crash Bandicoot.
