Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Paris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Dorokhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Dorokhov!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Dorokhov, right into the meat.
Paris shoots in looking for a takedown. Dorokhov tries to sprawl out of it but Paris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dorokhov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Paris has been working on his balance at Combat Zone [15 Elite & Sauna, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Dorokhov.
Paris shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dorokhov sprawls well. Dorokhov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Paris gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Paris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dorokhov.
Dorokhov connects with a body shot that sends Paris's belly button to the back.

Paris closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dorokhov to the mat! Dorokhov manages to get full guard.

Paris drops back looking for a leg! Dorokhov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dorokhov manages to kick Paris off! Paris jumps back into Dorokhov's guard.

Paris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Paris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Dorokhov seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Dorokhov throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Paris shoots for a double leg takedown but Dorokhov sprawls well. He's pushed Paris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice sprawl there from Dorokhov as Paris shoots in.
Paris fails with a takedown attempt.
Dorokhov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

It looks like Craig Paris has been cut.
Paris walks into a jab.
Paris takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Paris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dorokhov as he jumps to the side.
Dorokhov tries to clinch but Paris is having none of it.
Dorokhov throws a leg kick which misses Paris's front leg but catches the back leg as Paris tries to avoid it.
Paris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dorokhov defends it nicely.
Dorokhov lands a nice hook to Paris's body. Paris takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Paris is breathing heavily.
Dorokhov cracks Paris with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Dorokhov catches Paris with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Paris forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
