Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Craig Clifton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Havener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Havener has chosen My Dick: Mickey Avalon as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Craig Clifton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 19 - 3, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrew Havener!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havener cracks Clifton with a good jab.
Clifton avoids the body shot from Havener.
Clifton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Clifton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Havener pinned against the cage. Havener gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Havener is looking to clinch.
Clifton looks for a takedown but Havener sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Clifton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Clifton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Havener's waist but Havener gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clifton off to one side.
Clifton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Clifton dives in and grabs Havener's left leg, looking for a takedown. Havener pushes down on Clifton's head and hops out.
Andrew Havener seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Havener feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cliftons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Clifton has a takedown stuffed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clifton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Havener tries to avoid it but Clifton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Havener to the ground. Havener escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fighters circle momentarily. Havener darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Havener closes the distance but Clifton moves to the side

and Clifton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Clifton wants to work for an arm triangle but Havener is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Clifton not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Havener wants to control but Clifton is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Havener throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Clifton throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Havener is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Clifton is staying active.
Havener really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clifton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Clifton wants to control but Havener is keeping him busy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Clifton is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Clifton uses his free foot to push down on Havener's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Havener.

Havener is squirming around, avoiding Clifton's attempts to control the action.
Havener is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Clifton looking to control and managing it successfully.
Havener gives up his back whilst trying to strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Clifton is looking for the choke from the back position but Havener is controlling his hands well.

Clifton is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Havener knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Havener for a finish.

Clifton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Clifton is persistently looking for the submission but Havener is defending it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Clifton fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Havener tries to hold on but Clifton postures up.

Havener is trying to escape the mount but Clifton keeps good control and instead manages to take Havener's back.

Clifton has got one arm under Havener's chin. This could be trouble... Havener trying to control the other hand but Clifton gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Havener has tapped out! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Craig Clifton!
An out of breath Craig Clifton thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Andrew Havener stepped up to the mic, saying 'Win/lose I love an ass beating'.
