Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Newton Barlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giott Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giott Stone will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barlow feints and as Stone raises his hands in defense, Barlow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stone wants to stand but Barlow is controlling the position.
Barlow with a flurry of punches that miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barlow looking to sit in guard and control but Stone gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Stone controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Barlow pulls Stone in to control the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Barlow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stone misses with a leg kick.

Barlow closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Barlow stops Stone from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barlow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Barlow lands a nice short elbow.
Stone avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Barlow.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stone scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Newton Barlow has been cut.

Stone cracks Barlow with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Stone lands a right hook to the body.
Barlow fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Stone throws a low kick but Barlow avoids it.
Stone shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Barlow eats them both and turns towards Stone to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Barlow is rocked!
Stone throws a monster overhand right that drops Barlow! Stone follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
