PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ayotunde St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Curtis Porter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ayotunde St Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from St Pierre.
St Pierre shoots in and drives through. Porter sprawls well.
St Pierre misses with a takedown attempt - Porter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Curtis Porter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ayotunde St Pierre.
St Pierre shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Porter pinned against the cage. Porter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

St Pierre misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as St Pierre accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Porter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Ayotunde St Pierre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

St Pierre feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
