Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thor Arnason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KArl Woig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). KArl Woig is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnason checks a low kick from Woig.
Arnason moves out of range of the body kick from Woig.
Woig throws a body kick that misses.
Woig keeps the fight on the outside.
Arnason tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Woig paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Woig throws a solid leg kick but Arnason takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Woig.

Arnason tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Woig avoids it.
Woig is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Arnason to keep the fight standing.
Woig wants to break free but Arnason has control.

Arnason breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Woig throws a body kick that misses.
Arnason takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Arnason is taking a breather. Woig says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Arnason lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Arnason wants to pass the guard but Woig is defending well.

Arnason is working for a guillotine from mount but Woig frees his head quite easily.

Arnason is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Woig is aware though and is defending well.

Arnason has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Woig is trying to keep an underhook but Arnason manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Arnason takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Arnason goes for an armbar but Woig turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Woig.
Arnason will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Arnason wriggles free and stands up.

Arnason darts in and clinches Woig up against the cage.

Arnason drags the fight down to the ground.
Arnason controls Woig momentarily but Woig frees himself.
Arnason is pulling down on Woig's head. It's preventing any offense from Woig, at least for the moment.

Woig got a little sloppy there for a moment and Arnason has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Woig has managed to get both his arms back between Arnason's legs - danger averted.
Arnason is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Woig is bucking up trying to escape but Arnason cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Arnason, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
