Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnard drops his hands momentarily and McHail takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ragnard takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

McHail gets caught napping as Ragnard dives in and scores a takedown. McHail manages to retain guard.
McHail is looking to stand up but Ragnard isn't so interested in that idea.
Ragnard works a leg free and moves into half guard.
McHail is staying active underneath Ragnard, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ragnard is working for a submission of some sort.
Ragnard throws a strike but McHail avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

McHail is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Ragnard is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ragnard is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Ragnard has an Americana. McHail didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ragnard is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ragnard hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
