Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Link Gatez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, L Ron Hubbard!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hubbard ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Hubbard closes the distance and clinches.
Hubbard gets through Gatez's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Gatez.
Hubbard misses with a short punch on the inside.

Gatez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hubbard wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hubbard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hubbard ducks right into an uppercut from Gatez.
Hubbard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


It looks like Link Gatez has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Danga de danga de dang - Gatez scores with a four punch combination!
Hubbard throws the left hand but Gatez avoids the punch easily.
Left hook, right uppercut from Gatez.
Hubbard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gatez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.


Hubbard is rocked!
Hubbard fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gatez moves out of range as Hubbard strikes.
Hubbard tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Gatez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hubbard won't be happy with that.
Hubbard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gatez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gatez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hubbard looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gatez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hubbard is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gatez lets go of the hold and Hubbard can pop his arm back in it's socket.
