The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yumaguchi shoots in for a takedown but Amateur shows good takedown defense.
Yumaguchi dives in and grabs Amateur's left leg, looking for a takedown. Amateur pushes down on Yumaguchi's head and hops out.

Amateur throws a shot from downtown. Yumaguchi moves away and avoids it.

Yumaguchi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amateur swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Amateur has Yumaguchi pulled in close to control his posture.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

A looping hook to the body misses from Yumaguchi. Amateur does a little dance to reset his feet.

Yumaguchi dives in for a single leg takedown but Amateur sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Amateur unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Yumaguchi! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Amateur is unloading with more strikes now! Yumaguchi drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
