Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Borhan Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nestor Shufrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nestor Shufrich told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Borhan Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nestor Shufrich!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shufrich closes this distance looking for a takedown but Khan circles away.
Khan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shufrich was covering up waiting for the punch and Khan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Shufrich is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Khan defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Khan wants to control from the top but Shufrich keeps moving.
Khan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shufrich is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Khan is aware though and is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shufrich to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Khan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shufrich pulls down on the head and he's put Khan to sleep! This one is all over!
