And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dawg takes the fight into the clinch.
Perry keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dawg's efforts to push away.

Dawg manages to break the clinch.

Dawg clinches up against the cage.
Perry prevents Dawg from breaking the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Perry just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dawg's brow.

Perry successfully pulls guard.
Perry lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Dawg wants to stand but Perry is controlling the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dawg can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Perry trying to control the position from guard on top but Dawg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dawg wants to stand and escape but Perry is having none of it.
Perry throwing strikes from guard but Dawg blocks nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dawg wants to stand up but Perry is controlling him.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dawg fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Dawg lands a big uppercut and Perry crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Perry looks OK. Dawg waves Perry back to his feet!

It looks like Gale Perry has been cut.
Dawg throws a sloppy head kick and Perry moves out of range easily.
Perry slips a jab and a cross from Dawg.
Dawg scores with a jab to the body.
Hoolio Dawg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dawg is looking to score with low kicks.
Perry shoots for a takedown but Dawg saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dawg tries to bum rush Perry with a series of wild strikes but Perry uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dawg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Perry dodges the punch combination from Dawg.
Dawg plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Perry swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Perry face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
