Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorn Anthriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmonray Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malapitan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: My Time is Now. Dmonray Malapitan acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anthriel throws a body shot but no joy.

Malapitan shoots for a double leg takedown but Anthriel sprawls well. He's pushed Malapitan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Malapitan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Anthriel on his heels. He'll look to pass Anthriel's guard now, I'm sure.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Malapitan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Malapitan passes easily into side control. Nice work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Anthriel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Malapitan is working away from the top position though.

Malapitan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Anthriel manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Malapitan has Anthriel in his guard.

Malapitan throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Anthriel escapes and throws Malapitan's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Anthriel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Malapitan keeps working.

Anthriel decides to stand back up. Anthriel steps back and let's Malapitan get back to his feet.
Malapitan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Anthriel.
Malapitan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anthriel is fending him off so far but Malapitan persists. Nope, Anthriel circles away and we're back to standing.
