The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Botha looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Botha scores with a head kick. Me tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Nice sprawl there from Me as Botha shoots in.

Me closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Botha's guard.

Me thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Me seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Botha has his hands on Me's head, controlling the position.
Botha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Me on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Me is keen to just control but Botha is a slippery customer.
