Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Hazlitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kev smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). smith has chosen summertime as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazlitt throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hazlitt throws a nice looking combination but smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hazlitt misses with a wild body shot.
Hazlitt lands a nice looking kick to the body. smith takes a step back to recover.
smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hazlitt is fending him off so far but smith persists. Nope, Hazlitt circles away and we're back to standing.
Hazlitt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick misses from Hazlitt.
smith avoids the head kick by Hazlitt.
Hazlitt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hazlitt lands with a shot to the body.
smith looks gassed!
Hazlitt chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hazlitt knocks smith to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

It looks like kev smith has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ground and pound from Hazlitt seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Hazlitt decides to stand up, so the ref orders smith to his feet.
Hazlitt grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! smith takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Hazlitt cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
