The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valasvatsa shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rounded manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Valasvatsa controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Valasvatsa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Valasvatsa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rounded can't keep his opponent in guard - Valasvatsa advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Still in half guard, Valasvatsa seems content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valasvatsa's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
