And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Kid avoids the body shot from Dax.
Dax thows a left - swing and a miss!
Dax avoids the body shot from The Kid.
The Kid blocks a jab.
Dax blocks a head kick by The Kid.

The Kid has managed to clinch.
The Kid lands a hook that snaps the head of Dax backwards.
Dax throws a head punch that misses.
A short right from The Kid.
Dax works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Dax is trying to break free.
Dax wants to break the clinch but can't.
The Kid connects with a nasty looking knee right to Dax's face.

It looks like Jax Dax has been cut.
The Kid drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dax pulls his leg out and moves away.
The Kid throws a right and a left that both miss.
The Kid fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dax throws a lazy right hand but The Kid sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dax keeps the fight on the outside.
Dax misses with a straight right.
The Kid has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dax is landing a low percentage of strikes.
The Kid uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dax.
The Kid takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Billy The Kid has been cut.

The Kid moves into the clinch successfully.
A frustrated look appears on Dax's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Dax wants to break free but The Kid has control.

The Kid breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The Kid swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dax.
The Kid slips a jab and a cross from Dax.
The Kid tries to clinch there but Dax circles away.
Dax keeps the fight on the outside.
Dax looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Dax scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dax uses good head movement to avoid the hook from The Kid.
The Kid cracks Dax with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dax lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dax drops The Kid with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but The Kid looks back up at him and smiles so Dax waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The Kid is rocked!
Dax drops The Kid with a straight right hand, right on the button! Dax follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
