Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rayford Mccormick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cho Yugara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yugara drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Mccormick has gone for a leg lock! Yugara slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mccormick's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mccormick has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yugara can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mccormick is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Yugara gets his way!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yugara has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Mccormick! Can he survive? No! He's out! Yugara gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
