Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marko Marinovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marinovic looks to land a combination but Rose avoids it well.
Marinovic throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Rose looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rose throws a combination. Marinovic tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Rose bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Marinovic's head backwards.
Marinovic tries to close the distance and clinch but Rose swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Marinovic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rose's waist but Rose gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marinovic off to one side.

Rose is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Marinovic is defending well for now.

Marinovic is looking to control Rose's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Marinovic avoid being mounted?

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Rose has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Rose feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rose is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Marinovic seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Noel Rose showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Marinovic's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Rose's corner calls for a 1-2. Rose obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Marinovic lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Marinovic closes the distance but Rose moves to the side
and Rose counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Rose shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marinovic sprawls well. Marinovic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rose gets slowly back to his feet.

Rose sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Marinovic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rose keeps working.

Rose has hold of one of Marinovic's legs. Marinovic is fighting the takedown attempt but Rose gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Marinovic is looking to stand up but Rose isn't so interested in that idea.

Well Rose has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
