Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lloyd Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arhoun Fianna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arhoun Fianna!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case throws a body shot but no joy.

Case shoots in and gets a takedown into Fianna's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fianna can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fianna working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Case doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Case manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fianna bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Case's guard.

Fianna in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Case is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fianna must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fianna has gone for a leg lock! Case slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fianna's guard.

Case might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fianna pulls Case in close to prevent any damage.
Case tries to stand but Fianna is controlling from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fianna is looking for a triangle but Case pushes his legs off easily.
Case with a flurry of punches that miss.
Case really is a fat lump.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Case escapes and gets back to his feet.
Fianna misses with a body shot.
Case tries to clinch but Fianna is having none of it.

Case gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fianna to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Case utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Case has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Fianna off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Fianna tries to free his leg and advance position but Case is retaining full guard.
Case wants to stand up but Fianna is controlling him.
Fianna connects with a couple of short punches.
Fianna wants to control from the top but Case keeps moving.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Case looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Fianna prevents Case from getting back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Arhoun Fianna will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Fianna closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Case pushes Fianna away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fianna gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Case tries to buck Fianna off but Fianna is having none of it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Fianna dives in and scores a takedown into Case's guard.

Case is staying active underneath Fianna, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Fianna closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Case did well to prevent Fianna getting side control.
Case is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fianna is taking a breather. Case says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Fianna slaps away a takedown attempt from Case, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Case tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fianna sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Case somewhat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fianna moves out of range of the body kick from Case.

Arhoun Fianna showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Fianna throws a head kick that misses.

Case wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fianna creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Case jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fianna walks away with a smile on his face. Case gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fianna works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Case is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Fianna is controlling him well.

Fianna wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Case, who protects the arm well.

Fianna scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Case to see if he's OK.
Case is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Fianna is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Fianna swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Case is now in Fianna's guard. A big mistake from Fianna there, giving up the dominant position!

Well Fianna has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
