Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Mike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mitch Mike!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Josh Miller!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller slips a jab from Mike.
Miller has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Mike stuffs the takedown attempt from Miller. Miller gets slowly back to his feet.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but Mike shows good takedown defense.
Mike dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Miller. That did some damage!

Miller jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mike walks away with a smile on his face. Miller gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mike wants to slow Miller down by chopping away at his legs.
Mike looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Miller closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mike takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mike creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Miller seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mike does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Miller is working for a kimura but Mike is defending it quite comfortably.

Miller seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mike defend it? Miller steps over the head and cranks it - Mike is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Miller!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Josh Miller!
After the fight, Josh Miller was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
