Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Translucent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Translucent jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Vinnie Jones has been cut.

Translucent darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Translucent is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Jones looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Translucent working over Jones with some ground and pound. Jones looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Translucent trying to mount his opponent but Jones defends it.
Translucent has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones trying to hold on to Translucent's head to control him but Translucent postures up.
Translucent is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Translucent lands a nice short elbow.

Jones is defending against the submission attempts here by Translucent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Translucent is taking a breather. Jones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Translucent is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Jones has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Jones takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

That has opened up Vinnie Jones's cut even more.

Translucent loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Jones scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Translucent land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Translucent stands and salutes the crowd.
