Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MC Wisk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Rock Master Scott & The Dynamic Three - The Roof Is On Fire. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, MC Wisk!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns moves out of range of the leg kick from Wisk.
Burns fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wisk throws a leg kick but Burns sees it coming and moves out of range.
Wisk tries a head kick but it misses.
Burns darts in looking for a takedown but Wisk gets double underhooks and turns Burns into the cage.
Burns checks a leg kick.
Wisk leaves Burns with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wisk appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burns drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Burns jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Burns goes for a double leg but Wisk avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wisk continues to drive forward.
Burns shoots in and drives through. Wisk sprawls well.

Burns takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wisk misses with a looping left.
Burns feinted with a counter takedown.
Wisk throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Burns is breathing heavily.

and Wisk counters with a head kick. That will keep Burns thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Wisk lands a big head kick that sends Burns tumbling to the mat! Wisk takes a step backwards and waves Burns back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Brian Burns has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice takedown defense from Wisk. No joy for Burns on that attempt.
Wisk doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Burns shoots for a double leg takedown but Wisk sprawls well. He's pushed Burns's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Burns closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Wisk regains full guard. Nicely done.

Wisk pulls Burns in close to his closed guard and prevents Burns from doing any damage or advancing position.

Burns shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wisk but Wisk pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Burns checks a leg kick.
Wisk has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Burns manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wisk on his heels. He'll look to pass Wisk's guard now, I'm sure.

Wisk wants to control but Burns is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Wisk sends Burns crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Wisk is motioning to the referee to let Burns up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). MC Wisk!
A victorious MC Wisk thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
Brian Burns was interviewed post fight and said 'Hats off to my opponent. He was better tonight. I hope we meet again in the future.'.
