The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansson swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Hansson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Pilkington cracks Hansson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Pilkington cracks Hansson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Pilkington perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Hansson is defending against the submission attempts here by Pilkington.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pilkington working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Pilkington working his ground and pound in the gym.
Pilkington is taking a breather. Hansson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Hansson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pilkington scores with a couple of nice shots.
