Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Brunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Keith Brunt!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Roman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Brunt throws a hook to the side of Roman's head but Roman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Brunt is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Roman's half guard.

Roman pushes Brunt off looking to stand but Brunt dives back in and keeps control.
Brunt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Roman is refusing to be controlled, as Brunt sits in half guard.

Brunt shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Roman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Brunt creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Roman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Brunt thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Brunt tries to reverse the position but Roman maintains control.

Roman is landing with some decent strikes but Brunt is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Roman cracks Brunt with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Brunt can't escape the position.
Brunt is still trying to improve position.
Brunt tries to hold on but Roman pushes him away.
The referee warns Brunt that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Roman lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Brunt is bucking up trying to escape but Roman cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


Brunt is rocked!
Roman connects with a bit shot that sees Brunt covering up! More strikes from Roman and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Roman is our winner by TKO!
