Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Coleman Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Lashley!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lashley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coleman Jr changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Coleman Jr has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Lashley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Coleman Jr did well to prevent Lashley getting side control.

Coleman Jr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lashley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lashley's back!

Coleman Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lashley is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lashley is trying to get back to his feet but Coleman Jr has full control of the position and if anything, Lashley has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Lashley is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Coleman Jr.

Coleman Jr is persistently looking for the submission but Lashley is defending it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lashley wants to get back to his feet.
Coleman Jr is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Coleman Jr gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Coleman Jr gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Coleman Jr apologises and we restart here on the feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Coleman Jr will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Luke Lashley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Coleman Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lashley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lashley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lashley is posturing up here but Coleman Jr has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Lashley tries to roll out but it's too tight and Lashley has to tap! Slick submission there by Coleman Jr!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mark Coleman Jr!
Mark Coleman Jr very nearly forgot to thank Soul Supremacy Fight Gear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
