Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Chaolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bai Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaolan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Seek 'N' Strike. Lee Chaolan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaolan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Yu thinks about the counter body kick.
Chaolan looks to land a left hand but Yu moved out of range nicely.
Chaolan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Bai Yu has been cut.

Chaolan throws a hook to the side of Yu's head but Yu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Yu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chaolan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chaolan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Yu throws a right and a left that Chaolan avoids nicely.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Yu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Lee Chaolan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yu flicks out a counter leg kick but Chaolan steps away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Yu might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Chaolan has got the better of the exchanges.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Chaolan here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
