Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Guru Majja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Balan Syed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Majja comes into the arena with Afroman - Because I Got High blaring out of the sound system. Syed has chosen Undead as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Majja digs a good hook to Syed's body.
Syed lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Majja circles away quickly and effectively.
Decent striking displayed by Majja there.
Syed feints a jab promting Majja to slip. Syed then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Majja slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Nice defenses there by Syed.
Balan Syed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Majja has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Guru Majja decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
