And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mccormick tries to sprawl but Coleman drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Mccormick is in trouble now - Coleman has advanced to mount!
Mccormick tries to buck Coleman off but he can't manage it.
Mccormick sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Coleman stands up out of the half guard.
Mccormick wants to clinch

and Coleman moves into the clinch.
Mccormick keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Coleman's efforts to push away.
Mccormick fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coleman blocks a body shot from Mccormick.
Coleman keeps control of Mccormick as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Coleman is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Coleman can't break the clinch.
Mccormick tries to pull guard but Coleman forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Coleman is trying to break the clinch but Mccormick has him pressed against the cage.
Mccormick tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Coleman just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rayford Mccormick. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Coleman manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Coleman lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Mccormick is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Coleman pulls his head out easily.
Mccormick pushes Coleman off but Coleman dives into side control.

Coleman scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mccormick to see if he's OK.
Coleman is working Mccormick over with some ground and pound from side control.
Mccormick is looking to regain half guard here but Coleman keeps moving and retains side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Coleman decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mccormick to his feet.

Coleman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.


Mccormick is rocked!
Coleman is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Oh Mccormick is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Coleman decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mccormick to his feet.
Coleman avoids the head kick by Mccormick.

Coleman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mccormick, pushing him back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Coleman gets control of Mccormick's arms and successfully pulls guard. Coleman will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Coleman has his feet on Mccormick's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Coleman closes the distance looking for a takedown. Coleman picks Mccormick up and slams him brutally to the floor. Mccormick is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
