The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boulwiha goes for a double leg but Holm avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Holm continues to drive forward.
Boulwiha takes a swing at Holm's ribcage but misses.
Boulwiha misses with a takedown

and Holm moves into the clinch.
Holm lands a right hand.
Holm has Boulwiha pushed against the cage.
Boulwiha tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Holm smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuba Boulwiha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boulwiha shoots in for a takedown but Holm shows good takedown defense.
Boulwiha closes this distance looking for a takedown but Holm circles away.
Boulwiha avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boulwiha tries to counter with a takedown but Holm is quick to defend against it.
Boulwiha shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holm pinned against the cage. Holm gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Holm lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holm tries to stand but Boulwiha is controlling from the bottom.

Holm is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Boulwiha has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Holm is looking to defend but Boulwiha has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Holm! Boulwiha pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Holm taps out and this one is all over!

After the fight, Yuba Boulwiha was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
