Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ademir Azevado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blagojevic Batakovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ademir Azevado has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ademir Azevado seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azevado misses with a body shot.
Batakovic tries to bum rush Azevado with a series of wild strikes but Azevado uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Batakovic fails with an attempt to clinch.
Azevado keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Azevado finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Batakovic blocks a jab.
We've been informed that Batakovic has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Blagojevic Batakovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Batakovic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Azevado swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Batakovic.
Batakovic moves in looking to clinch but Azevado pushes him off.
Azevado throws a body punch but Batakovic moves out of range.

Batakovic gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Azevado to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Azevado stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Batakovic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Batakovic looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Batakovic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Azevado doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Azevado manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Azevado drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Azevado jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
