Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zoran Jolevi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonzo Jackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zoran Jolevi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gonzo Jackman's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jolevi takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The crowd cheers as Jackman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jolevi doesn't seem phased though.

Jolevi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jackman did well to prevent Jolevi getting side control.

Jolevi content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Jackman tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jolevi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jolevi advances nicely into full mount.
Jolevi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Jackman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jolevi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jackman is controlling an arm, preventing Jolevi from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Jolevi wants to take Jackman's back here but Jackman is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Jolevi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Jackman is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jolevi gets his way!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackman looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
