Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robin Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JC Seraphim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JC Seraphim will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robin Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, JC Seraphim!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Seraphim.
Palmer is looking to clinch but Seraphim is avoiding it.

Palmer tries to keep at a distance but Seraphim has taken the fight into the clinch.
Palmer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Seraphim has him pressed against the cage.
Palmer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palmer wants to get back to striking at distance but Seraphim won't allow it.

Palmer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Seraphim motions for Palmer to come forward. Seraphim throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Seraphim fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Palmer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Seraphim gets the takedown into side control.
Palmer really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

Seraphim decides to stand back up. Seraphim steps back and let's Palmer get back to his feet.
Seraphim tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Palmer paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Seraphim has Palmer pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Seraphim pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Palmer tumbling to the mat - Seraphim dives into Palmer's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Seraphim moves into the clinch.

Palmer is pressed up against the cage. Seraphim has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Palmer down to the mat. Palmer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Seraphim is trying hard to land a takedown here. Palmer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Seraphim looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Palmer is fending him off so far but Seraphim persists. Nope, Palmer circles away and we're back to standing.

Palmer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Horrible takedown attempt by Palmer or perhaps it was just good defense by Seraphim, which made it look bad.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
