Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dre Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Mayor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Still's entrance music is Dr. Dre - Still D.R.E.. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Still tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mayor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Still somewhat.
Mayor cracks Still with an open hand slap.
Mayor walks into a left hand.
Still changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mayor tries to avoid it but Still manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mayor to the ground. Mayor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice cross by Mayor.
Mayor displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Still throws out the jab.
Dre Still seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mayor throws a shot from downtown. Still moves away and avoids it.
Still attempts a counter takedown but Mayor avoids it well and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Still closes the distance and clinches up with Mayor, looking for a takedown. Still pushes Mayor against the cage but Mayor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mayor throws a body punch but Still moves out of range.
Mayor scores with a jab to the body.
Still jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mayor uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Still.

Still drives through with a takedown into guard.
Still tries to free his leg and advance position but Mayor is retaining full guard.
Still definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Mayor is looking for a triangle but Still pushes his legs off easily.
Still wants to pass the guard but Mayor is keeping the position.
Mayor working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Still.
Still stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mayor swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Our spies down at at Team Butcher Gym inform us that Mayor has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Still drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mayor manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Still has Mayor in his guard.

Mayor drops back looking for a leg! Still is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Still manages to kick Mayor off! Mayor jumps back into Still's guard.

Still has his foot on Mayor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mayor works his way back into a safe position though.

Still thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mayor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Still manages to get himself to full guard.
