The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Barchandao.
Deathgrip throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Barchandao sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Barchandao throws a hook but Deathgrip blocks it.
Deathgrip throws a body shot but no joy.
Deathgrip has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Barchandao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Deathgrip shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barchandao sprawls well. Barchandao wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Deathgrip gets slowly back to his feet.
Barchandao is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Deathgrip.
Barchandao lands the left hand.
Barchandao misses with a double jab.
Barchandao connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Deathgrip jabs Barchandao right on the nose. Barchandao blinks but takes it well.

Deathgrip decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Barchandao is trying to control but Deathgrip manages to pass to mount!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Deathgrip goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Barchandao turns into him and now he's in Deathgrip's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Barchandao controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Barchandao wants to control from the top but Deathgrip keeps moving.

Barchandao stands up and waves to Deathgrip to follow him.

Deathgrip throws a right hand that Barchandao ducks under and follows up with a left that Barchandao also avoids with ease.
