Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Eldur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eldur is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Loki - Skalmold. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eldur closes the distance and clinches.
Eldur throws an elbow that misses.

Eldur has Rivera pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Eldur pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rivera tumbling to the mat - Eldur dives into Rivera's guard.
Rivera is looking to stand up but Eldur isn't so interested in that idea.

Rivera lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Rivera is stalling here. Eldur is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rivera seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Eldur has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

What's going on here? Eldur has decided to give up on the ground game despite having his opponent's back!
Eldur rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rivera moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rivera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eldur tries to avoid it but Rivera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eldur to the ground. Eldur escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rivera lands a lovely overhand right.

Eldur pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rivera back to the cage. Eldur follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.


It looks like Ethan Rivera has been cut.

Eldur darts in and clinches Rivera up against the cage.

Rivera works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Rivera might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fight stays on the outside here - Eldur looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Eldur uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rivera.
Eldur uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Eldur tries to close the distance and clinch but Rivera swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rivera has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Eldur is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
A frustrated look appears on Eldur's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Eldur's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Eldur has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
