Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rafa Mandenhi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhael Tomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mandenhi shoots in but Tomas avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tomas wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mandenhi, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mandenhi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tomas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mandenhi has managed to get both his arms back between Tomas's legs - danger averted.
Tomas is looking to stand up but Mandenhi isn't so interested in that idea.

Let's hope that Tomas has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
