Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Rivas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jo Roblin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cypress Hill-Insane in the Membrane. The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roblin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rivas tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Check out the look on Rivas's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Rivas has hold of Roblin's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Roblin tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rivas cranks the arm and Roblin screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Roblin, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Oscar Rivas!
