Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stone Mountain!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mountain.

Mountain felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Wilkins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mountain is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wilkins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Wilkins throws a big counter combination but Mountain scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Mountain shoots in but no luck this time.
Mountain is breathing heavily.
Mountain takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wilkins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mountain swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mountain closes the distance and clinches up with Wilkins, looking for a takedown. Mountain pushes Wilkins against the cage but Wilkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wilkins lands with a hook. Mountain tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wilkins throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mountain stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Wilkins closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mountain's guard.
Mountain wants to sweep here but Wilkins controlling him for the moment.

Oooooh!!! Wilkins has knocked Mountain down with a huge combo! Wilkins steps away and waves a wobbly Mountain back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Wilkins's corner calls for a 1-2. Wilkins obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mountain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wilkins circles away.

and Mountain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Wilkins cracks Mountain on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mountain falls backwards against the cage. Wilkins follows up with more strikes that drop Mountain to his knees. Wilkins keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mountain! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). DJ Wilkins!
