Puntti Manne has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tyson Clay's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Puntti Manne!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manne moves into range and clinches up with Clay.
Manne misses with a hook to the ribs.

Clay lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Manne backwards.
Manne tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Manne lands a hook to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Clay scores with a nice short uppercut.
Manne misses with a short punch on the inside.
Manne tries to throw a body punch but Clay avoids it by throwing Manne back against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clay tries to clinch but Manne is having none of it.
Oh Clay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manne throws out a loose jab but Clay uses good head movement to avoid it.

Clay will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Clay closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Manne did well to prevent Clay getting side control.

Clay is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Manne has managed to free his arm - good work.
Manne makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Manne.
Manne has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Clay has passed into side control.

Manne takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clay grinds an elbow into Manne's temple.

Clay is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Manne has escaped the position, nice work there.
Manne tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We've been hearing good reports from Clay's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Manne feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Clays jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Manne shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Clay lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Clay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Manne has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Clay has managed to get both his arms back between Manne's legs - danger averted.
Tyson Clay is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Manne takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clay accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Manne throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clay, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
