Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guan Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian McGordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yu comes to the cage accompanied by Tale of Three Brothers. Guan Yu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGordon lands a slapping body shot.
McGordon ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Yu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGordon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McGordon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Yu on the side of the head.
Yu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

McGordon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Yu chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McGordon can pounce on him.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McGordon, as that shot connected.
McGordon lands with an uppercut that bounces Yu off the cage and back into range.

Yu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McGordon swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
McGordon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Yu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McGordon takes one to the side of the head.

Yu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McGordon to score with a decent uppercut.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Yu takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
McGordon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yu paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A helpless look comes across Yu 's face. He knows he's trapped as McGordon lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
