Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Katsuro Kazuhiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phoenix has chosen Phoenix as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Phoenix!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That kick from Kazuhiro tenderised Phoenix's leg. Phoenix is trying to keep his angry face on.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kazuhiro's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Phoenix connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kazuhiro scrambles back to his feet.
Phoenix's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Phoenix cracks Kazuhiro on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kazuhiro falls backwards against the cage. Phoenix follows up with more strikes that drop Kazuhiro to his knees. Phoenix keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kazuhiro! This one is all over!
