Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Buscemi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Apollo Hades!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buscemi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hades keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hades throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Buscemi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hades scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Steve Buscemi has been cut.
Buscemi misses with a looping left.
Buscemi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hades tries to avoid it but Buscemi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hades to the ground. Hades escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Buscemi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hades cracks Buscemi with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Buscemi looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hades finish him?
Buscemi is rocked!
Hades drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Buscemi's head, knocking him out cold! Hades is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Apollo Hades!
