The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matumba moves out of range of the strikes.
Matumba misses with a double jab
so Puch counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Puch throwing strikes from guard but Matumba blocks nicely.

Puch stands up over Matumba, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Matumba takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Puch works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Robledo Puch spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
